Tween + Teen Workshops

Learning Together in a Safe, Supportive Space
Learn alongside friends in a judgment-free, supportive space. Many kids feel unsure or embarrassed about periods, pelvic health, or body changes. Our workshops are hosted in cozy, private spaces in homes of hosts who know the group. Led by a professional who understands their experience, each session is safe, approachable, and age-appropriate while giving practical, empowering guidance.

Through fun hands-on activities, guided discussion, and shared experiences, participants gain practical tools, decrease stigma, and build confidence. These sessions empower tweens and teens to ask questions, make informed choices, and feel comfortable navigating new challenges.

EmpowerHer Period Prep
(Local to RVA)

A cozy, in-home workshop hosted by families like yours, where girls (8–11) and their adults can learn, laugh, and talk openly about first periods in a private, supportive space. Empowering and confidence-building, this session helps you understand what to expect and make choices that fit you.

EmpowerHer Period Prep (Online, Self-Paced Group Version)

Celebrate the start of something new with connection, learning, and laughter. This self-paced, online workshop is hosted right in your home, and guided by Natalie, an occupational therapist, through a recorded workshop that feels supportive, real, and fun. It’s compassionate, understanding, and designed to make “the period talk” feel natural, not awkward.
