Expert Support for Tweens, Teens, and Their Caregivers
Growing up with a uterus comes with big changes and sometimes confusing or uncomfortable challenges. You’re not alone! We help tweens and teens understand their bodies, navigate periods, and manage common pelvic concerns in a safe, judgment-free space. Check out our options for 1:1 sessions, workshops, and classes to build confidence, comfort, and skills.
Periods
Periods are a normal part of growing up, but for many tweens and teens, they can feel confusing, uncomfortable, and even disruptive. Pain, heavy flow, or uncertainty can get in the way of school, sports, sleepovers, and feeling like yourself. We help with some of the most common challenges:
First Periods
It can feel awkward or “taboo” to talk about your first period. Many tweens aren’t sure what’s normal or what to expect. We help you understand your body and mind, feel confident and prepared, and make empowered choices that fit your own comfort and lifestyle.
Painful or Heavy Periods
When cramps or bleeding make it hard to get through school, sports, or sleepovers, it’s time for extra support. We teach practical tools and movement strategies to ease symptoms and help you feel comfortable and capable again.
GYN Appointments
Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve had tough experiences before, these appointments can bring up nerves or discomfort. We help you understand what will happen, how to advocate for yourself, and how to get your body and mind into a calm, relaxed state to make the experience less stressful and less painful.
You deserve to feel confident, calm, and comfortable in your body. We’re here to help you get there.
Pelvic Health
Pelvic health challenges can feel confusing, uncomfortable, and sometimes embarrassing for tweens and teens. Accidents, discomfort, or uncertainty can interfere with school, sports, sleepovers, and daily life. We help with the most common concerns:
Wetting & Urinary Challenges
Whether it happens during the day, while laughing, playing sports, or randomly, or at night despite trying all the usual strategies, wetting can be stressful and make tweens feel self-conscious. Other common concerns are frequent urination, difficulty fully emptying the bladder, or painful urination. We provide compassionate, practical support to promote pelvic floor control and build confidence in everyday life.
Bowel Issues
Chronic constipation, stool leakage (encopresis), straining, or discomfort during bowel movements can be painful and affect daily life. We help tweens understand their bodies, develop healthy bowel habits, and regain control and comfort in their routines.
Pelvic Pain & Body Awareness
Pelvic discomfort, muscle tension, pain during urination, difficulty with tampon use, or menstrual-related pelvic pain can interfere with school, sports, and social activities. We teach strategies to relieve tension, reduce discomfort, and improve body awareness so tweens can feel comfortable, confident, and in control of their bodies.
You deserve to feel confident, comfortable, and in control of your body. We’re here to help you get there.
