It Takes a Village—But Where’s Mine?

The first time I realized motherhood could be lonely, I was standing in my kitchen, staring at the clock on the microwave. It was 3:27 AM. The house was quiet—except for the tiny, fussy baby in my arms and the sound of my own breathing, shallow and exhausted.
I had read all the books. I had taken the classes. I had followed every well-meaning piece of advice that had been thrown my way. But in that moment, I felt like I was free-falling into something no one had fully prepared me for.
No one had told me about this.
The deep, aching uncertainty. The way my body didn’t feel like mine. The way my emotions swung wildly between overwhelming love and overwhelming… everything else. The way the world moved on like normal, while I sat on my couch, covered in spit-up, wondering if I’d ever feel like myself again.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. But what happens when the village is missing?
The Gaps No One Talks About
I’m Natalie, and if you’ve ever felt this way—lost, exhausted, unsure of what you’re supposed to be doing—you’re not alone.
I’m a board-certified occupational therapist, a mom, and someone who has spent years helping women navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. And one thing I’ve learned? The way we prepare moms is… incomplete.
Doctors and nurses do their best, but they’re stretched thin. They give you the basics, the medical side of things, the checklist of what to expect. But they often don’t have the time—or the training—to help you understand how it all fits into your real, messy, beautiful life.
They don’t tell you how to process your birth story, how to reconnect with your body, how to navigate the waves of emotions that hit out of nowhere.
They don’t tell you that even if you “do everything right,” you might still feel like you’re unraveling some days.
And they definitely don’t tell you that you are not broken.
This is why I do what I do.
More Than Information—A Village Rebuilt
I created my programs because I saw too many women walking this journey alone. Because I was one of them. And because I know that having the right support—real, honest, judgment-free support—can change everything.
What I offer isn’t just education (though I have plenty of that to share). It’s connection. It’s a space where you can ask the questions you didn’t even know you had. Where you can hear stories from other moms who get it. Where you don’t have to feel like you’re failing just because you’re struggling.
Motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone. And if your village is missing, I want to help you build one.
Let’s Do This Together
So, if you’ve been feeling that pull—the something’s missing but I don’t know what it is kind of feeling—you’re in the right place.
I won’t promise you an easy, perfect motherhood journey (because, let’s be real, that doesn’t exist). But I can promise you that you don’t have to do it alone.
Let’s talk about the things no one talks about. Let’s prepare you for the things you don’t even know to prepare for. Let’s build a community where you feel seen, supported, and strong.
Because motherhood is hard—but finding your village shouldn’t be.
